let's get ourselves started ;; ;; PERHAPS SOME BASICS
name ;; Evielle (Pronunciation N/A)
age ;; Ageless
gender ;; Female | Mare
alliance ;; None | Neutral
position ;; Imperial of Water
now that that's squared away ;; ;; LET'S GET MORE COMPLICATED
appearance ;; Standing at a little under sixteen hands at the wither, Evielle is a standard Lipizzan. Her head is quite sculpted and elongated, but it isn't exactly strait or triangle-like. It has its volume, and its probably one of her more distinct features. Her jaw is prominent, but so much so that it looks unbecoming. In a way, it adds character, but she isn't particularly fond of it. Evielle's ears are small and tapered, and her eyes are big and round (not to mention a nice blue color). They often betray her inner feelings, and so its hard for her to mask her emotions. Another point of the face is she has flared nostrils, or at least noticeable ones. It makes her look like a formidable and serious beast; its probably the only thing she sort of likes about her strong appearance. Going away from the face, she has a thick neck, yet it is arched enough so as to look elegant and feminine. The mare's withers are low-set, but they are also strong and give way to a strong back. With a wide and deep chest, the imperial has broad shoulders and an overall powerful frame. When it comes to her tail, it is well-placed with fine hair. She often has it lifted up no matter what her mood, giving her a graceful appeal. Her mane is also fine; it is longer than most, and it is even sometimes referred to by strangers as looking like a waterfall. It's an exaggerated simile, though, of course. It only goes down an inch past her neck. Second to last, her legs are muscular and firm. They are not especially long, but they are fairly sized; the joints and muscles are noticeable, giving her even more power to her look. Finally, her hooves are relatively small in contrast to her body, but they are compact and serve well in rough terrain.
Being an imperial, Evielle is stuck primarily in her youth. It is a good thing, of course, for who doesn't want to look vibrant for an eternity? The only problem is, because of her undisclosed breed, she is stuck in a 'graying process'. While most adult Lipizzans have off-white coats with gray hairs here or there, the mare has an almost juvenile hide. Her body in general is a very light gray that could be passed off as white in specific light, but her neck, jaw, legs, and haunches are speckled with dark, almost black patches, along with gray splotches underneath them. While it isn't entirely off-putting (actually, it gives her a very nice appearance), it makes her look younger then she really is. Her breed does not produce pure-white horses, but it seems like it. Evielle can't help but be the weird one out. The mare's skin is black, and the insides of her ears are a dusky color — the same with her nostrils. Her hooves are a gray shade, although they are borderline white with black rims. Her mane is the same shade as her body; gray dapples it, marring the white that should be her main coat color. The tail is different though; it's a blonde color that looks starch white in extreme light. It's one of her nicer and more distinctive features. Overall, she's a beautiful creature that manages to look feminine and strong at the same time. Always holding herself with a lot of dignity, one will rarely see her without a highly held head and pricked ears. Her stance is normally authoritative, yet at the same time graceful; she's probably the only imperial to demand such control of herself. The mare is infamous for always having her front hooves slightly apart from the other, as in one hoof will be a bit in front, crossed just a tad, with the opposite behind a ways. Meanwhile, her back legs are perfectly adjacent to each other. Its her favorite position to stand in, and she's quite particular about it.
personality ;; Evielle is very much like the element she reigns over. She's moody, or emotional. She's also an open romantic with great taste for love; she adores match-making and the whole game of finding that special someone, even if its just a tryst or ends badly. Third, she can be dangerously serious when need be. She takes heavy matters with a lot of heed. It's given her the reputation of being a reliable and safe horse to go to for domestic or other-worldly affairs. This trait curses her though, in a sense, because she has a very big lack of a sense of humor. Evielle can't crack a joke to save her life, and she can prove to be rather dense when it comes to comedy (especially sarcasm and things like that). It's not that she isn't smart though, she just isn't exactly the quickest to respond or enjoy light-hearted trivialities. Lastly, she isn't wary of fighting. Despite her romantic nature, she can be more than willing to kick someone's lights out if the situation calls for it. Evielle is not violent. She knows how to defend herself; there's a difference.
How does this make her like the water? Well, like the water, she is unpredictable in her reactions and feelings to some things. One moment she can be calm and docile, and the next can be ridiculing and temperamental. It's constant mood-swings, but somehow she manages to stay mainly level-headed. The mare isn't known for being rash, and she doesn't take all too many risks unless provoked. Her mind is practically controlled by the water, actually. An attentive soul would note that if their nearby stream or lake was choppy and fast-moving it would be deducible that Evielle was not in a good mood. A calm water surface says that she is at peace. The whole thing isn't that hard, and it has been taken advantage of by horses wishing to see her so they can plan their expeditions. The other three main traits of her disposition compliment how water is tended to be revered as: romantic, dangerous, and something to take with great awe and caution at the same time. The whole thing is a complex business within itself.
if you're trying for this ;; ;; YOU'LL HAVE TO DO MORE
sample post ;; Evielle's blue eyes churned like the water's surface before her. The crests of the waves were tipped white and revealed nothing of the river's bottom beneath. Although the water was normally a murky brown, the lack of sunlight and the prevailing face of the moon turned it black with shining highlights. The rippling element made a steady splashing sound against the rocky shore; it filled the mare's ears and fueled her emotions. Becoming one with her beloved river, the waves churned around her soaked legs and lapped hungrily at them. It was like they fed off each other, Evielle drawing mental strength from the water's fury and the water gaining more personality from Evielle. In fact, actually, the river seemed its own entity now as it continued to run by at fast speeds. Wading further into the cold and swift body, the liquid went up to her belly and slammed into her. It didn't affect the gray mare, though. It only made her feel more at one with herself; it built up around her as she added pressure to the waves. The water climaxed and roared about her. Eyes closing, she focused on the way the river seemed to relax as it came to caressing her sides instead of slapping them. The crests of the waves danced and glided effortlessly across the surface, moonlight glazing their peaks. The imperial was considerably calmer now. There really was nothing that coming down from her temple and joining the water couldn't fix.
Turning around in her position in the heavy water, she got purchase on the rocky bottom as she made her way out. Flicking her soaked tail to and fro, Evielle took a few determined steps out onto dry land. It was freezing now that she was in contact with dry air, but she was terribly used to it. The night was young. The night was actually a good one; it was cool, and the stars were out. Suppressing a sigh, the mare decided that she better return to her temple. She knew that she would probably be getting visitors, and she didn't want them out and about searching for her. Although, they really needed to stop expecting that she'd be there all the time. Just like her fellow imperials, she loved to get a taste of the land every now and then. It was a prevalent hobby of hers, actually, to go out like a normal mare and search for young couples to meddle, no, converse, with. Her mood lightened even further at the thought, and she decided that tomorrow, if the day was bright and the water was blue, she'd do so.
why you're the right choice ;; As in I, the member? Well, I consider myself to be a fairly literate and advanced role player, so I can choke up lengthy, in-depth posts worthy of an imperial without a whole lot of guts and blood. Also, I wanted to have Evielle in my character-belt because I have always been infatuated with water. I made her fit with my view on the 'element', and I just think it's rather nifty.
now for a little peek ;; ;; WHO'S BEHIND THE MASK
name ;; You know what you can call me.
other characters ;; Altsoba and Chogan
predicted activity ;; Everyday, baby~ ;3
comments ;; I hope I did that right... Sorry that her description is ten times longer than her personality. xD

Accepted. O.O It's almost exactly how I imagined her. I always thought of her as a Lippi or Andy. The personality's a bit off from how I imagined, but I love it anyway xD
