You are not Alone I am here with you Even when your scard I'll never leave you Standing in a storm
[ verse one ] Letting slate grey eyes roam this new territory, Viper, a black and white vanner, moved gracefully into it. Its beauty hardly went unnoticed, the tall trees, the sun showing and shinning down and every creature. Tucking her chin closely to her chest, she bolted left and took off at a smooth gallop, as she began exploring this unknown land.
[ verse two ] Black hooves barley touching the ground as Viper made her way into the territory, as she was now gathering as the Crossing Grounds from all the horses that have been here and most likely gone by now. Letting the muscles in her shoulders work, she slid to a complete stop. Lowering her skull close to the ground, she sniffed. Many horses in deed.
[ verse three ] Bringing her head up again, she held it high and looked across where she was now, no one was in sight. Was that good or bad? Viper wasn't sure. Standing like a stone, Viper closed her eyes, and remembered..
[ verse four ] 'Their home was in the mountain, every equine new how there herd worked, you where accepted if you could prove you only wanted peace. No fighting was ever accepted within the mountain valley, not everyone obeyed this rule. Being the daughter of the queen and king of this well known herd, she was 3 when terror hit the herd. Loud noises, loud horses, mean horses. She had escaped, but hardly unharmed.'
[ verse five ] Flashing her eyes open, she winced as she bit her anger out in a loud snort. She couldn't go into the past, the hurt, and pain. No. She had spent so much of the last two years thinking about it, she was here to make a new life, a new start and she wouldn't dare mess this chance up, it has been a long while since she has seen any horses and Viper was getting lonely, which never happened to her. Maybe she was die, yes that must be it, she was dieing. To bad, she wanted a foal or two.
So I'm coloring my face While I am here with you Imagining the landscapes of your sorrow Is it yellow or blue?

Eros moved quietly forward, his blind eyes seeing nothing… But the bald eagle on his pole saw, and he spoke into it’s mind. :Dear heart… Is that a mare I smell?: Asked the dark appaloosa. The bird nodded. ”Yes Eros… it is…. Shall we go meet her?” The bird asked, softly, so softly that only the blind stallion under him could hear.
Eros set off at a faster pace dodging trees and rocks alike until he was about 30 feet away from the mare, then he slowed and stopped about 10 feet from her. He bowed low. ”Hello Miss… I am Eros, Leader of Avalon Isle, and this is Helios, my friend.” He said as he came up from the bow. He smiled at the fem, wondering if she would be one of the many mare’s who never saw his eyes? Or at least thought that he could see them? Now if he connected with Helios he could see, but doing so tired the stallion and he chose not to. His auds pointed at the mare, curious.
He wanted a mare for himself… Someone he could care about, and love… maybe not a queen, but someone! Someone besides Helios, who was a friend yes, but that only went so far when you were a loner, and a sad one at that. He waited for the mare to speak. His blue and gray eyes pointed towards her seeing nothing.

[ verse six ] Hearing the appouch of another equine, Viper turned so she could face the new comer, a stallion. And a bird? Confusion flooded her face, while quickly remasking it with a wall of emotion, she waited while he appouched her. Flicking her ears back then forward again, Viper tilted her head, as he came into veiw, she registered his face. Something was off with his eyes. Not thinking anything of it, she watched as he slid to a stop, and spoke.
”Hello Miss… I am Eros, Leader of Avalon Isle, and this is Helios, my friend.”
[ verse seven ] Her towers went forward at the mention that he was a king, or leader, same thing in Vipers eyes. Good day, Eros she voice slow, soft. Like water running off rocks. You would think that Viper would know how to act around royalty but in all honestly, she didn't. She never acted differantly around her parents, she acted like herself, never trrying to act like someone else, what would that reach? If someone wanted to know her, then well they would see her without getting to know her before she showed her real personality.
[ verse eight ] Rolling her tongue over her teeth, she grinded them. How could she be so stupid? Tucking her head to her chest, she sallowed hard. And I, Eros am Viper she paused, With no picticular title she said with a bit of humor, hoping he enjoyed it, simply because thats what she did.
[ verse nine ] Eyeing the bird, she pointed him as a bald eagle, birds she had never enjoyed, to be quite frank, they had always scard her, their big brown eyes, there beak. Letting a shrudder rip through her body, she tore her eyes away from them, and sucked in a breath of the heat of summer air. Lowering her eyes, she couldn't help but wonder why his eyes seemed so cloudy, so.. off?

Eros took another slight bow to her. ”Hello Viper.” He said with a smile. ”Of no picticulart title.” He added with a slight bob of his head. Helios bobbed his head at the mare. ”Do not fear me… I do not hunt Horse, I prefer the fish.” he said suddenly taking off to find a tree. Eros turned his head to follow the bird with his ears. ”Sorry about Helios… Either your scared of him, or hes scared of you…. At least that’s as far as I can figure out about him…. Unless your me… In which case he’s a friend. And he is right. He won’t hurt you ever. Not unless you attack him first.” He said with a slight smile. The bird had found a tree and was now preening himself.
Eros cocked his head to the side. ”I have no meaning to be rude Viper, but I am curious, Who’s side are you on?” He could just read it in her mind, but chose not to… That could bring all sorts of little problems… Including none trust. He hated that. As far as he knew he was the only horse in the place that could read minds, lift things with his mind, and control other horses, that were powerless.
