Zan is a cremello Lusitano stud, that stands at 15.3 hands. He has the usual pink points, around his eyes and his muzzle. His hooves are a gray color mixed with a dirty cream shade. He has long flowing mane that is in a rather layered fashion down his neck, and a thick wavy tail that reaches his hocks. Zanzibar has glacier blue eyes that sparkle with laughter and glint with malice. He possesses the usual Lusitano qualities; deep, broad chest, arched sloped neck, and sturdy legs. His body is a bit thicker then a Lusitano usually is, but this doesn't stop him from doing what needs to be done.

Zanzibar, while older then most, is a wild, kicker. He tends to act younger then his age and is very childish. He likes to live life as best as he can, but doesn't try to be too lively or idiotic. Fun is one of his favorite words, he doesn't believe that life is boring or droll. Zan has a good head on his shoulders, he isn't likely to blow up at many things and is very calm in most situations. As a rule, he doesn't get angry at many things, unless of course it's something very very big. Most of the time he is one of those horses that seems like he isn't paying attention to you and really he is. He's really just looking around or zoning out while listening to you. Zanzibar is very quiet around most horses, he doesn't trust most others, so he generally won't talk much around them unless he has something that he needs to say.

While Zan can be wild on his own and extremely quiet around most horses, he really is an okay guy. Once you get past his rather quiet side you can see him for what he truly is: himself. Remember how I said that he's wild? Well that's what he's like around his friends and loved ones, a really big, old kid. He can be quite immature when he wants to be and generally will be the one you see trying to pull some prank or make someone smile. He really cares about how most equines feel, especially those dear to him, and will try any tactic to get them to be happy. So in essence, Zan is like a two sided horse, quiet and wild.
