Mordecai is a gorgeous black and white overo paint stallion. He stand at average height, being about 16 hands high. He has a thin build, due to his heritage. He is an arabian/mustang cross, and the arabian half shows through rather vividly. His face is slightly dished, like that of an arab, though a bit wider, showing the mustang. His legs are long and look fragile, though they are far from it. The rest of his body, though somewhat on the lithe side, is bigger boned and solid enough. He is quite the looker, with the sharp contrasts between the white patches and his black coat, but its his two blue eyes that stand out the most.

Mordecai is the youngest of the imperials, and it quite honestly shows. He can often be seen simply fooling around, riding the wind, tricking mortals into thinking they're hearing ghosts, and so on. He doesn't do this out of malice, no, he's just trying to have fun. He is rather full of himself, thinking is the best damn thing out there. If any of the imperials would bring a mortal to their realm, it would be him, just to prove he could. When he was alive he was the one who made attachments to the pretty mare, following her around like a little lost puppy until someone else caught his eye. He doesn't do that anymore, though it is surprising he ever became an imperial in the first place with his rather immature behavior. He can be serious when he needs to be, of course, but he prefers not to have to go to this "tremendous length"
