Bayfield, Colorado. Population- 1,523. The closest town, Pallisade, is a 40 minute drive west. But area holds the largest number of Night Worlders. What are Night Worlders, you ask? They are creatures of the Night World. Vampires, werewolves, witches and shapeshifter all inhabit it. Where is the Night World, you question? It is not a place. It is all around us. Night Worlders are everywhere. One could even be your best friend.
There are only two laws in the Night World. No human must know it is real. And no one from the Night World can fall in love with a human. Violations of these laws result in death. But something strange is beginning to happen. For hundreds of years the Night People and humans have lived side-by- side with out conflict. With out any law broken, but that has all started to change.
Rumors of Night People finding soul-mates in humans have reached Bayfield, and all the Night People are wondering, 'Is it true?' Is it true you can find a soul-mate in a... in a human? It's true and it has started. Night Worlders of Bayfield are beginning to find soul-mates, not only in humans but each other as well. Are you willing to risk your life for the one you love? Are you willing to lose everything?
But now the apocalypse is approaching and three of the four Wild Powers have been found. The Wild Powers are beings, people, that have the ability to save the world, but only if they are used together. Now the Night World is being divided. Many vampires and some witches think that they should sit back and allow the apocalypse to happen, thinking that they will get to rule once the humans are gone. While Circle Daybreak and the rest of the Night World want to save the world.
