-//Height- He stands at about 16 feet three inches -//Breed- Nokota -//Build- His build is quite draftish, though visibly influenced by quarter horse as most of the 'newer' generations of his breed are. Overall, the easiest way to describe him would be to simply say he is 'a tank'. Whilst not as massive as some pure draft breeds, his body is clearly built to withstand. His bone structure is very sturdy, and easily supports the mass of muscle he sports just beneath his skin. Set above pillar-like legs he has a thick chest and a bulled neck, leading into a well proportioned wide back. His croup is downhill from his withers, cutting off sharply from his hip giving his rear a somewhat tucked under look to them. Yet, it allows him better balance as well as stronger striking. -//Color/markings- His pelt is a light roan, something not uncommon in his breed. His overall body is a dusty blue with splatters of darker color; his points are of a darker 'blue' coloration. The markings he was born with is a blaze on his face that goes from a round star just above his eyes, thins out into a strip then fans out just above his nostrils to cover his upper lip; he also has a stocking on both hind legs. As for scars, he has quite a few, though none are too prominent over the others. The majority of them are results of his daredevil aditude of his yearling days.
personality ;;
Phantom is the kind of horse one would call 'layered'. The better you get to know him, the more of him you will see. Though, getting to the 'core' of him isn't an easy feat. First off, if anyone wishes to have any chance at all of learning more of him, they have to prove themselves to him. This doesn't mean throwing themselves off of cliffs and whatnot to prove their bravery; but all its means if the horse he is speaking to can't prove to them that they have some semblance of a brain, they won't stand a chance in hell of gaining his trust. The same goes for any kind of horse that is outright rude to him. Though these types can't gain his trust, its not saying he doesn't enjoy being around them.
In fact, he loves nothing more than to hang around others that are either stupider or ruder than himself. For the stupid ones, he finds their incapability of keeping up with him amusing as well as comfadense boosting; for the mean ones, he knows every trick in the book for further angering them. Alas, both these tactics tend to bring him more trouble than others see worth it, but for him, the momentary amusement before the consequences set in is almost always worth it. Alas, there are times when it is not, but more often than not, he is very good at weighing the cost of affect and knowing what will be good for what price.
Though his ability to judge others, and find what gets to them shows he has a brilliant mind, others tend to over look that factor. Instead of seeing what it could mean, they tend not to look past what it creates, and what it creates is generally utter caos. Of course, there is no denying that it is in fact utterly obnoxious, the way he acts, but the fact remains he dose it because he can, because he is smart enough to be able to.
This 'because he can' reasoning applies to a lot of the stuff in his life. Though he is smart, and calculating of most situations, there are times when he just seems to 'forget' to fully think. Though as he grows up, these moments become fewer, they are still a part of his (almost everyday) life. He is clearly aware of the fact he can't die, and because of this, he doesn't hold back. In his younger days, this led to him quite literally jumping off a cliff in order to prove he could and wasn't scared to a friend.
Though his days of jumping off cliffs and purposefully putting himself in harms way for no good reason are over, the bravery and reckless nature he gained from such foolishness still remains. In situation where there is danger everyone is running from, one can find him stepping towards it, a daring smile on his face. Alas, age has given him some sort of wiseness where this is concerned, and he will only jump into the bee-hive if there is reason. If the reason is that a friend, lover, or one of his herd is stuck in the hive... well... let us just say our prayers for the souls of the bees.
For all his foolishness and for his rouge and dare devil ways, he is at heart a deep set 'lover'. Any and all who do manage to get past the silly-ness of him at first will find themselves faced with a creature that will do anything for them. He is the type that, once he gains affection for a creature, he refuses to let them go. Yes, his affections may change towards them, but once his, they will always remain and have him there for them, an un-yeilding statue ready to take on whatever burden they may need help carrying.
It is because of this over devotion that he makes it so... difficult to gain that side of him. Also, the majority of the ones that do gain that devotion from him, don't even know about it. Why? For when he is at that level of devotion, he starts to act 'cold' towards those that he feels it towards. He puts on an ice like faquade that would tend to make others think he in fact couldn't care less for them. He shows this same 'coldness' when he is being serious towards matters of his herd, leading others to believe he is a reckless and heartless bastards.
Overall he paints the picture of being a socialpathic wild child without a care for anyone but himself. For real, he is a kind soul that couldn't care less for his own safety when that of another is compromised. He will do what is right and has to be done, unless the toll on others is too great. He is a lover and a romantic that hides his kinder sides to protect himself and his weakness.

{I'm sorry, so muse less -_-} The territory before him spread out, the borders of it mere black blobs in the distance that spoke of mountains. The land was normally alive with lush grass and birds and little mice that all danced around merrily in the gentle breeze. Not currently though. As of now everything was silent, not even the robins bothered to twit out their normal chatter. The only creature daring enough to break the almost spooky silence was a lone fox; its bark echoing dimly as it jumped up, before landing and dissapearing compleately back beneath the snow. Though it seemed foolish that the little thing should even bother with being out in this weather, it continued on, deturmination clear in its sideways held ears.
Though the things destination wasn't clear to him, the stallion watched it with interest, his ears flicked towards it, head ever so slightly tilted to better get it in his view. It wasn't often he found one as foolish as himself wandering out in snow like this, so when he did find something as silly, it was interesting to him. Also the fact that the creature was so small, but made so much progress through the deep snow gained the young stallions respect. Shaking his head, he ridded his neck and poll of the small layer of snow that had gathered there, daring to melt at the heat from his skin, and drip beneath the hairs to leave him wet and shivering. The shake progressed from his neck to his back and rump, a cloud of snow rising above him.
The snow had stopped about an hour ago, but the light top-dusting of the snow got blown in the wind, falling like fresh flakes back to earth. Stilling himself, he returned his attention to the small fox as the creature reached the edge of the woods, and with a bark of triumph, leaped from the deep snow into the almost clear ground that had been protected by the thick pine trees. Though grinning wasn't an expression common to most horses, his lips drew back in an unmisstakeabel smile as he let out a whinny in compliment to the foxes triumph, his breath billowing out before him. Clearly the fox hadn't known the horse was there, for with a yelp, it bolted off into the shadows of the woods, ears pinned back, tail tucked. So maybe the thing hadn't been as brave as the stallion had first pinned it to be... just stupid.
Snorting, the stallion once again shook his mane, this time out of boredom more than anything. He'd come out here to the Vally in hopes of avoiding that feeling, yet other than the fox there had been nothing but that brain numbing feeling. At least he was away from the rest of the herd for a bit, and out from under the lead stallions glare for an hour or two. Of course, when he returned he would be in deep trouble for disapearing as he had, but he figured being banned to the outskirts for a few days wouldn't bother him. In fact, after the week the herd had spent crammed in the canyon to avoid the wind of the blizzard, the lack of body heat from other equines was welcomed. He had a thicker body-coat than some other horses in his herd, so the lack of cold in the canyon on top of the heat from the big heard had left him sweating.
Blowing out again, he started to walk, his eyes and ears moving to take in the terrain around him. It all looked so different with the snow. He could recognize a spot where there was a large pile of rocks, but it currently just looked like a large white blob popping up from the rest of the white. Changing his pace to a trot, he used his massive chest as a bulldozer, as he plowed towards the stones curiosity taking over him. Reaching the side of the rocks, he stood in a drift of snow up past the point of his shoulder. With curious intent, he nuzzled at the white stuff, using his lip to push around the white powder before snorting and picking his head up, his upper lip flipping up away from his teeth. Sneezing again, he shook his head, before once again nudging at the snow. This time, he started to use his head to push the snow away from the rocks, before resorting to rearing up slightly and using his forlegs.
Before long, he had managed to clear away the majority of the snow, and was now down to idly pawing at it. With a sharp scraping noise, he managed to get through the snow to the rock beneath. Leaning down, he blew hot air on the remaining few flakes, causing them to melt into small droplets of water. Drawing back, he viewed his self appointed excavation, one ear forwards towards it whilst the other idly continued to listen to the world around him. A shiver ran down his spine, and he shook off the snow that had managed to make his pelt wet. Mid-motion, he paused, one of his ears pinning back whilst the other spun to stick directly to his right side. Slowly, he raised his head, legs still straddled from when he'd been shaking the snow off, and turned his head. Instantly both ears pinned forwards towards where he had distinctly heard a noise. It could of been just snow falling from trees, but he wasn't so sure, he could swear it was... different from that. Squinting in the bright light of the snow, he finally managed to pinpoint something that looked like an equine. Flaring in his nostrils, he attempted to find their smell on the cold wind, as he stood still, awaiting the other to approach....
