So, I just thought I'd put up a little welcome post to say hi to everyone who has joined, and who will join. Thought we could share a little about ourselves, since we will hopefully be a community together for awhile. So, I'm Phoenix. You can call me whatever you like, though. I'm in grade 12 right now, and plan on going into forensic science in university. I've got three horses, all of which live in a paddock in my backyard, seeing as I live on a 7.4 acre hobby farm. We've got about 5 cats and a dog as well. If you wanna know more, see pictures, or whatever, just ask

Why hello thar. I love replying to these things, so I will. Well, I'm doing it now... ANYWAY.
You're in grade twelve... Everyone on the role play sites I join is so much older than me, it's amazing. Forensic science is like, the investigation of crime scenes and stuff like that, right? I know that there are different types of forensics... And you have horses? That is awesome! I've never really been near a horse before, except maybe when I was four or five when I went to my friend's ranch thinger. I also have cats, but only four. Never had a dog, though... PICTURES WOULD BE NIFTY. -spazz-
...
Oh, by the way, I'm -insert name here-. <3

Lol, well, being older doesn't make us bad... does it? And yes, there's general forensics, as well as specialized sectors, such as fingerprinting, dna, etc. I plan on doing what my riding coach does, getting a job at the RCMP lab, if I can(I'm in Canada), but first comes much university stuffs. Pictures... pictures... -finds- They're all links Star, my first horseShe is no longer ours -- She's been retired from riding and given to a friend of one of my old coaches to be a broodmare. She was only 15, but she wasn't... cooperative when it came to riding anymore. That was us at one of our shows last year, before her brain went haywire(i'm certain she was bi-polar, or something). I will likely base a character off her, because she's insane. And insane characters are fun. And I'm only including her in this because we have many good pics that I adore sharing, and I still miss her her insanely. JerseyMy dressage pony, who I will have to sell next year cause I'm too tall When I got her, she could hardly canter she had so little balance. It's been three years since then, and she's come a long way. We're gonna do provincial showing next season. That picture was her first show season, the first year I had her. I have to find some from this year. JessieThe special-with-a-capital-R one. (aka: semi-retarded, but we love her to bits). She's half dead, I swear. And obese beyond belief. We don't have pics of Comet, my gelding, on my computer yet, just got him a few months ago as an early christmas present. JelloOur dog. We pretty sure she's a paranoid schizophrenic, and she has separation anxiety. I like to call her the black tornado. Cali and ShadowCali is the calico -- Her nickname is Lucifer. Shadow is the other one. He is special, just like Jessie. He was found on a tractor battery at the barn I used to board at, so I think that's why. He thinks his a cat, a dog and a bird, all in one. GambitHe kinda came with the hobby farm. He's only around in the winter, because our tack room's heated. He fathered the two kittens when we found their mom, Jinx in the middle of a snow storm. She, unfortunately, got nabbed by a coyote. Amore and Captain Jack (Harkness)The kittens,my little babies. Particularly CJ, the long haired one. He's gorgeous. The black one is his brother, Amore, so named because of the white heart on his chest which he won't let me photograph. Ever.

No, it isn't bad. xD I just feel so little 'n' stuff.
Ah ha! I was close if not dead-on~! That kind of forensics I find to be interesting as well, and I think it's rather neat that you have a liking for it.
Oh, wow, all of those horses are so pretty. <3 I'm sorry to hear that you had/have to give away Star and Jersey. That must have been difficult. ;_; On the other hand, your dog is really cute! What breed is she, if you know? I'm not good with identifying those sort of things, so yeah. Also, all of your cats look so sweet, and I'm sorry that Jinx died. D: That also must have been difficult.
Those. kittens. are. adorable. They look just like their parents! :3 They seemed to be sleepy too. xD

Jello's a beagle/dachshund cross we got from the humane society.
And yeah, the kittens were up at the house sleeping on the chair when I noticed them. And had to take their picture.

Ah ha! I was thinking dachshund, but I wasn't exactly sure~.
D'aw. xD My cats won't take pictures at all... They disperse at the mere mention of a camera, it seems. -le sigh-
